PENYELESAIAN WANPRESTASI TERHADAP KREDIT MODAL KERJA DENGAN JAMINAN HAK TANGGUNGAN (Studi Kasus di Bank BRI Cabang X)

Banks are one of the most important financial institutions and have a large role in the economic life of society. Banks act as a financial institution that aims to act as a financial intermediary with the main business of collecting funds and channeling public funds as well as providing other services in payment traffic. In distributing funds to the public, default on the credit agreement itself often occurs which causes losses for the bank as a creditor because the debtor does not fulfill his obligations as agreed in the credit agreement. So the author aims to analyze the factors that cause debtors to default on working capital loans with collateral rights at BRI Branch qualitative. Data collection used was by conducting interviews and documentation, then analyzed qualitatively. The results of the research stated that the causes of debtors defaulting on working capital loans with mortgage rights at BRI Branch From the start, the debtor had a bad character, as well as force majeure factors. Meanwhile, efforts to settle credit for defaulting debtors on working capital loans with mortgage rights at Bank BRI Branch X are carried out in two forms, namely preventive efforts and repressive efforts
