Abstract
This research is entitled Study on the Role of Indonesian Shuttle Diplomacy in Resolving the Humanitarian Crisis Due to the Military Coup in Myanmar Reviewed from the Free and Active Politics and will discuss 3 problem formulations, namely What steps did Indonesia take in carrying out Shuttle Diplomacy in resolving the humanitarian crisis in Myanmar, To what extent is Indonesia's diplomacy in line with free and active politics, and How effective is Indonesia's Shuttle Diplomacy in resolving the humanitarian crisis in Myanmar. In international politics, it seems that war is a cycle that occurs due to the absence of agreement in diplomacy. In recent years, there have been many armed conflicts in various parts of the world and not infrequently the results of these conflicts have claimed very large casualties, and spent a large budget, just to arm its military. Therefore, a legal regulation must be made that tries to regulate so that a war can be carried out by implementing and paying attention to humanitarian principles, namely legal regulations currently known as International Humanitarian Law. This research discusses Indonesia's involvement in the international world. Especially in its position as part of one of the ASEAN member countries. Indonesia needs to help Myanmar resolve the armed conflict in its country for the sake of humanitarian principles. Real efforts made by Indonesia are to host a meeting of ASEAN member state leaders to resolve the conflict in Myanmar. The meeting resulted in a five-point consensus. The country has its own sovereignty over its territorial area and system, so Indonesia needs to pay attention to the rules of international law if it wants to help resolve the conflict.
