Abstract
The land use system in Purwosari Sub-district, Pasuruan Regency, applies a coffee agroforestry cropping pattern. Coffee plants are planted with interludes of understory plants, in addition there are wood plants such as pine, sengon, and fruit-producing plants such as durian and avocado. Plant diversity has an impact on nutrient availability. This study aims to determine the availability of nutrients in coffee agroforestry-based land and determine the relationship of nutrients to coffee production. The research was conducted in Sumberrejo, Tambak Watu and Kucur Village, Purwosari, Pasuruan Regency. Soil sample analysis was conducted at the the East Java BPSIP soil laboratory from April to June 2024. The first sampling method was purposive random sampling and then continued with the composite method of 5 points on a 5x5 plot on each land, with 1 replication. Variables measured include micro nutrients (N, P, K), macro (Fe, ZN, Cu), moisture content, pH and soil C-organic. Static data analysis used correlation test to determine the relationship of soil nutrients to coffee production. The results showed that Sumberrejo land has optimal soil conditions for coffee plants based on nutrient content, but Kucur land has the highest coffee productivity of 4 tons/ha/year due to the presence of sufficient shade. The results of the correlation test of nutrient elements to coffee yield were not significant in all variables, this occurred due to other limiting factors or the presence of other factors.
