Abstract
This study aims to create a challenging chemistry module by using contextual learning techniques to improve the emotional and social skills of SMA students in an increasingly complex educational environment. This module is intended to address the issues with chemistry education that are frequently discussed and difficult to understand. This module has been validated by the design and content experts using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development approach. The validity value of the media expert is 89, and the validity value of the material expert is 79. About thirty students participated in Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid Paiton class X.3. According to the results, the module significantly increased the students' emotional and social skills from 67 to 87 and their knowledge from 67 to 80. This study indicates that chemistry research modules produced are not just.
