ANALISIS PROBLEMATIKA EKSISTENSI BIMBINGAN KONSELING DALAM PELAKSANAAN BIMBINGAN KARIR DI SMAS MUHAMMADIYAH LIMBUNG

This study aims to analyze the existence of guidance and counseling in the implementation of career guidance at SMA Muhammadiyah Limbung. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative research, with data collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the school has not fully implemented career guidance due to a lack of qualified guidance and counseling teachers. However, in May 2024, the school recruited a counseling teacher with qualifications in the field of guidance and counseling. This study also identifies two main issues: the implementation of career guidance and the techniques used in career counseling. It was found that the role of counseling teachers is crucial in helping students plan their future and in increasing their interest in pursuing higher education. This research is expected to provide recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of career guidance programs in
