Abstract

The phenomenon of bullying in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is the main concern of educators, psychologists, and policymakers, In Indonesia, bullying against children at an early age is often ignored or even considered as a normal behavior in the socialization process. Bullying in early childhood education is a complex problem that requires proactive and holistic prevention strategies, and collaborative learning seems to offer promising solutions. This study aims to explore in depth how the collaborative learning model can be applied in the early childhood education environment. This research method outlines the systematic steps that will be taken to achieve the research objectives, namely to understand how the collaborative learning model can be applied in an effort to prevent bullying in Early Childhood Education (PAUD). The method used in this study is qualitative, which focuses on in-depth exploration of the experiences, views, and practices of early childhood educators and managers related to the application of collaborative learning models. Based on the results of interviews with the Principal, teachers, and Vice Principals, the results of this research show that Aisyiyah Kandui Kindergarten has implemented a collaborative learning model well to prevent bullying. The implementation of this model not only aims to improve students' academic skills, but also to develop social and emotional skills that are important in preventing bullying behavior. Through collaborative learning, children are invited to interact positively, work together, appreciate differences, and develop important social-emotional skills such as empathy, tolerance, and conflict resolution.
