ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN KINERJA KEUANGAN PADA SAAT DAN PASCA PANDEMI COVID 19 PADA PT INDOFOOD SUKSES MAKMUR Tbk.

This research analyzes the comparison of the financial performance of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk during and after the COVID-19 pandemic (2019–2023) using the financial ratio method. The background to this research is the impact of the pandemic on the global economy, including Indonesia, which affects various sectors, including food and beverages. The formulation of the problem is how the pandemic affected Indofood's financial performance, while the main objective is to assess differences in company performance during that period. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a descriptive approach. The research results show that the company's liquidity ratio has experienced a significant increase post-pandemic, indicating better cash management. Solvency ratios show a reduction in dependence on debt, while profitability ratios such as Return on Equity (ROE) fluctuate, reflecting operational challenges. Activity ratio analysis shows increased efficiency in utilizing fixed assets. This study concludes that although the pandemic presents major challenges, adaptation strategies such as digitalization of distribution and product diversification are helping Indofood maintain its financial stability.
