NILAI-NILAI RELIGIUS DALAM NOVEL TAK KENAL MAKA TA’ARUF KARYA YUDIARTO DAN RELEVANSINYA UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN KARAKTER

Religious values are highly relevant to character education. This study aims to (1) describe the forms of religious values in the novel Tak Kenal Maka Ta’aruf by Mim Yudiarto, (2) describe the relevance of the forms of religious values to character education in the novel Tak Kenal Maka Ta’aruf by Mim Yudiarto. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data source for this research is the novel Tak Kenal Maka Ta’aruf by Mim Yudiarto. The data collection technique is document analysis. The research results are as follows: (1) The forms of religious values in the novel Tak Kenal Maka Ta’aruf by Mim Yudiarto include: (a) Relationship with God (Hablum Minallah): sincerity (ikhlas), humility (khusyu’), and piety (taqwa); (b) Relationship with fellow humans: honesty, justice, compassion, and avoiding envy or grudges (hasad); (c) Relationship with oneself: self-discipline (mujahadah an-nafs), patience, gratitude (syukur), and trust in God (tawakkal). (2) The relevance of these religious values in the novel Tak Kenal Maka Ta’aruf by Mim Yudiarto to character education includes sincerity (ikhlas), patience, gratitude (syukur), trust in God (tawakkal), promoting good and preventing evil (amar ma’ruf nahi munkar), humility, and honesty.
