Abstract
This research aims to investigate the influence of green human resource
management and green transformational leadership on environmental performance in the hotel sector, with green innovation as a mediating variable. The research was conducted at three hotels, namely Rayz UMM Hotel, My Dormy Hostel, and Kapal Garden Hotel, involving 118 employees as respondents. This study uses a quantitative approach and Partial Least Squares (PLS) based analysis method with the smartPLS device to test the relationship between existing variables. The research results show that the implementation of green human resource
management and green transformational leadership has no effect on environmental performance at the UMM Hotel. In addition, green innovation has proven to be a significant mediator in strengthening this relationship. These findings provide a valuable contribution to the growing literature on sustainable management practices in the hospitality industry, which is increasingly concerned with managing resources in
