Abstract
In handing down a decision by a judge, it is hoped that the litigants, both plaintiffs and defendants, can accept the decision well. However, this will be different if the decisions, especially the rulings, are contradictory and do not reflect the value of uncertainty that should be accepted by both parties. As in the simple lawsuit objection decision Number 26/Pdt.G.S/2024/PN.Sby, which actually contradicts each other. This research aims to find out how the implementation of conflicting decisions in the simple lawsuit objection case Number 26/Pdt.G.S/2024/PN.Sby is implemented for the parties at the Surabaya District Court. The type of research used is empirical juridical. Meanwhile, the data collection techniques used were observation and documentation, where the author researched directly in the field during the internship activities. The research results show that the simple lawsuit objection decision is clear if it is an inappropriate decision so that in its implementation the parties will look for a decision that is profitable for each party. The author's advice is that judges also need to pay attention to the considerations that will be decided in the case by applying the principles of justice, certainty and expediency. So that it does not result in conflicting decisions in the decision.
