PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MENULIS TEKS DESKRIPSI BERBASIS NILAI BUDAYA LOKAL ENDE UNTUK SISWA SMP KELAS VII

The aim of this research is to develop educational materials for writing descriptive texts based on local Ende cultural values for class VII students using a qualitative approach. The research method applied follows the ADDIE model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. At the analysis stage, student needs and the relevance of the material to local cultural values are identified through interviews. The design of teaching materials is carried out by considering the results of this analysis, followed by the development of appropriate content. Implementation of teaching materials is carried out through trials in class, and evaluation involves measuring effectiveness through pre-tests and post-tests. The instrument used for data collection was an interview with the verifier, namely class VII MTs students. Private Nangapanda, Indonesian language subject teacher, and media expert validator. Based on validation results from class VII MTs students. Private Muhammadiyah Nangapanda scored 87%, the validation results from Indonesian language subject teachers scored 95% and the validation results from media experts scored 90%. According to the assessment score criteria, it can be concluded that the teaching materials for writing descriptive texts that have been developed are very suitable for use in the learning process in the student's area.
