Abstract
This research aims to explain, 1) the representation of forms of social conflict in the film "Budi Pekerti" by Wregas Bhanuteja; 2) factors causing social conflict in the film "Budi Pekerti" by Wregas Bhanuteja; and 3) the impact of social conflict in the film "Budi Pekerti" by Wregas Bhanuteja. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature and uses a Literary Sociology approach. The data source in this research is the film "Budi Pekerti" by Wregas Bhanuteja which will be broadcast in 2023. The data in this research are word quotes, both dialogue and monologue, obtained from the transcription of the film into a script or film scenario. The technique used in collecting data is the listening and note-taking technique. The data analysis technique in this research is the Miles & Huberman Model data analysis technique. The research results obtained: 1) representation of forms of social conflict in the film "Budi Pekerti" by Wregas Bhanuteja, including: a) individual conflict and b) conflict between social classes, 2) factors causing social conflict in the film "Budi Pekerti" by Wregas Bhanuteja, includes: a) differences in personal and group interests, b) differences in attitudes and feelings, c) rapid and sudden changes in values in society; c) the impact of social conflict in the film "Budi Pekerti" by Wregas Bhanuteja, including: a) positive impact and 2) negative impact.
