Abstract
The South Asian region is the highest region in cases of trafficking in women, this is due to several factors including weaknesses in law enforcement, poverty, low education and economic conditions in South Asia, efforts to overcome these problems are the main goal of forming a Non-Governmental Organization called the Global Alliance Against Trafficking Women (GAATW) which is an alliance organization with 80 collaborations that exist at the international level and 29 of them are in the South Asia region. This study aims to determine the role of the Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women in tackling trafficking in women in the South Asian region in 2018-2022. The method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with secondary data obtained through literature review or documentation. The data analysis technique used is interactive qualitative analysis with several stages, namely data collection, data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions in collaboration with the concept of analysis of the role of NGOs with three aspects, namely executors, catalysts and partners.
