Abstract
Character strength is important for teachers to have, especially inclusive teachers because this can help teachers when carrying out their duties teaching students with special needs. The impact of teachers who lack character strength is the emergence of burnout which will be felt by teachers, especially inclusion teachers. Therefore, it is necessary to know what character strengths are most dominant in this research so that it can help inclusion teachers to be able to carry out their duties optimally. This research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between character strength and burnout in inclusive teachers. The research method used was correlational quantitative research with a total of 271 inclusive teachers with a minimum work period of 1 year. The sampling used was quota sampling, data was collected through distributing online questionnaires with a measurement scale using the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey (MBI-HSS) from Maslach & Jackson and the VIA Inventory of Strengths (VIA-IS) from Peterson & Seligman. The analysis used uses the correlation method from Pearson Correlation. The results of data analysis show that there is a relationship between character strength and burnout in inclusive teachers. This is shown by the correlation value p 0.034 <0.05. The implication of this research is that inclusive school teachers have at least the most distinctive character strengths (character strengths) which are useful for helping teachers when dealing with students with special needs so that in the future there will be no tendency for burnout.
