Abstract
This research is based on the role of social workers in the social rehabilitation of children in conflict with the law at the Sumur Safe House in Nganjuk Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. This research uses data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The aim of this research is to find out the role of social workers in the social rehabilitation of children in conflict with the law at the Sumur Safe House in Nganjuk Regency. The results of the research show that the role of social workers in the Nganjuk Regency Sumur Safe House in the social rehabilitation process includes: 1) Enabler 2) Broker 3) Advocate 4) Mediator 5) Negotiator 6) Educator 7) Initiator 8) Empowerer 9) Coordinator 10) Researcher 11 ) Group Facilitator 12) Public Speaker. Social workers carry out the rehabilitation stages as they should, starting from the initial approach stage, the stage of disclosing and understanding the problem, preparing a problem solving plan, problem solving, resocialization, termination, and further guidance. The end of the intervention stage for children in conflict with the law results in changes in terms of values, attitudes, ways of thinking and behavior.
