PENGARUH DETERMINASI DIRI TERHADAP PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN KARIR PADA MAHASISWA TINGKAT AKHIR

Self-determination plays a good role in the process of solving academic challenges and making career decisions in students. In the transition period from student to working world, final year students are required to be more proactive in preparing for their future careers. This study aims to determine the influence between self-determination and career decision-making in final year students. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Accidental Sampling technique with 200 subjects with the criteria for final year students who are pursuing a thesis. The measuring tools used are the career decision-making scale and the Basic Psychological Need Theory (BPNT) self-determination scale. The data analysis technique used is the Pearson correlation technique with the help of SPSS version 25 for Windows. The results showed that there is significant positive influence between self-determination and career decision making of r = 0.685; p=0.0001 < 0.050.
