Abstract
Heavy rain that falls in the Jalan Mayjen Sungkono-Sriti Madiun City area often causes puddles. These puddles arise because there are several drainage channels that cannot accommodate the flow of water entering the channels. Therefore, it is necessary to have a good drainage system so that falling rainwater does not cause puddles. Drainage on roads has a depth ranging from 60 cm to 100 cm with a width of 70 cm to 100 cm. Rainfall analysis was calculated using the Pearson Type III log method with a return period of 5 years of 132.93 mm. By comparing the existing drainage capacity discharge with the design flood discharge, there are channels that cannot accommodate the discharge, including channel Kn 2-3 and channel Kn 3-4. So, the drainage channel which could not accommodate the discharge was re-planned with new dimensions.
