POLA DAN STRUKTUR TEKS BERITA KARYA SISWA KELAS XI SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 GRESIK

News text is one of the teaching materials in the curriculum that must be achieved by students in grade XI. This study focuses on describing the findings of the patterns and structures of news texts by students in grade XI. Several findings of inconsistencies in news structures and student news text patterns with the rules of new news structures are findings in this study. This research method uses qualitative descriptive through data observation techniques. The researcher took the subject of the research on students at schools located in Gresik district, by raising the object of the study of news texts that they created. It is hoped that with this research, it will be able to describe errors in writing news texts. The results of this study discuss the findings of news patterns and news structures which include news titles, news headlines, news bodies and news tails. Described in each structure, later the points that strengthen the contents of the news. Then the findings of news text writing patterns including the inverted pyramid pattern, chronological pattern and problem-solution pattern are also discussed in this study.
