PENERAPAN NEMBANG KRAMA INGGIL (BANG MAIL) SEBAGAI PEMBIASAAN BERBAHASA JAWA DI SD NEGERI 1 BANTUREJO NGANTANG KABUPATEN MALANG

This study aims to analyze the application of Nembang Krama Inggil (Bang Mail) as a habituation in an effort to preserve Javanese culture at SD Negeri 1 Banturejo, Ngantang District, Malang Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews with teachers, students, and parents, and documentation of activities. The results showed that Nembang Krama Inggil is implemented through daily habituation in morning activities, such as singing along with traditional Javanese songs, as well as integration in thematic learning. Positive responses are shown by students who are enthusiastic about learning traditional values, while parents support this program as a form of culture-based character education. Teachers also faced challenges in providing innovative materials but managed to integrate them with local values. This research concludes that Bang Mail contributes significantly in strengthening students' cultural identity and preserving Javanese traditions in the modern era.
