Abstract
Background: Hallucinations are one of the typical symptoms often found in psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia. Hallucinations, which are defined as sensory perceptions in the absence of external stimuli, often occur in auditory, visual, or tactile forms. The most common form of hallucination in schizophrenia patients is auditory hallucinations, in which patients hear unreal voices, such as
commands or threats. Approximately 70% of patients with schizophrenia experience significant auditory hallucinations, which have an impact on their quality of life.
Method: The research method used in compiling this Final Scientific Paper uses case study research. The author studies the case through the nursing process, namely assessment, determining nursing diagnoses, making nursing interventions, implementing nursing actions, and evaluating interventions. In the process of data
collection, the author conducted interviews, observations, and documentation from the patient Mrs. S.
Results: Based on the results of the assessment, the main diagnosis raised was thought process disorder (hallucinations). The interventions given were SPTK hallucinations and the PANSS-EC Instrument which before the client was unable to control and tended towards a positive attitude. While after the SPTK hallucinations
and observation using the PANSS-EC Instrument, the client was able to control hallucinations and there was a decrease in positive attitudes.
Discussion: The technique of reprimanding is considered effective in the research of Nafiatun & Susilaningsih (2020) in reducing the frequency of hallucinations, clients are trained to say no to hallucinations that appear or not care about their hallucinations. SPTK hallucinations and observations using the PANSS-EC instrument, clients can control hallucinations and there is a decrease in positive
attitudes.
