Abstract
Teaching modules have a major role to assist teachers in designing learning. The reality in the field is that teachers are still having difficulties in compiling and developing teaching modules. This is due to various things, one of which is the lack of readiness of teachers in compiling teaching modules that are in accordance with the applicable curriculum. In fact, the readiness of teachers in compiling the Independent Curriculum teaching module is something very crucial. This will have an impact on the implementation or implementation of the independent curriculum. The purpose of the research is, first, to describe and explain the readiness of teachers in designing teaching modules for the independent learning curriculum at MIS Muhammadiyah Darussalam Waioti. First, describe the steps used in designing the teaching module. Third, describe the teacher's obstacles in designing teaching modules.
The research conducted includes qualitative research with the type of research being a case study. The research was conducted at MIS Muhammadiyah Darussalam Waioti. The data of this research is the readiness of teachers in designing teaching modules for the independent learning curriculum at MIS Muhammadiyah Darussalam Waioti. Meanwhile, the data sources are school principals and teachers of grade I and grade 4 teachers. Data was collected through the interview process, doculometric studies, and observations. To test the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation techniques. The analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman interactive data analysis whose stages include data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions and verification. The conclusions of this study are: first, teachers are ready to carry out the independent learning curriculum. The readiness of teachers arises because of training related to the implementation of the independent curriculum. Second, teachers are ready to design teaching modules for the independent learning curriculum, marked by the existence of teaching module products that are implemented in classroom learning. Third, the steps used by teachers in designing the independent learning teaching module are, identifying the learning goals to be achieved; analyzing the needs of teachers and students, determining the flow of learning objectives, and conducting evaluation and follow-up. Fourth, the obstacles in designing teaching modules are quite diverse, namely related to limited learning resources, lack of teachers' ability to manage time in designing teaching modules, and sometimes lack of ideas.
