Abstract
Entering the beginning of marriage, couple who choose to live with their in-laws must learn to adapt to the new environment, new family members, and family conflicts. The relationship between the daughter in-law and the in-laws is an issue that is often discussed in household disputes, the large age difference, cultural differences and mindsets are often the cause of conflict, the intensity of frequent meetings because of living together. Ineffective conflict management makes the conflict worse. This study aims to determine the conflict resolution that is often used by the daughter in-law in household conflict, especially with the in- laws. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with 226 respondents. Using an instrument created by Rohim, namely Rohim Organizational Conflict Inventory II (ROCI-II). Based on the results of the study, the most frequently used style is the integrasi style and the lowest is the dominance style.
