ANALISIS PENYEBAB PERKAWINAN DI BAWAH UMUR YANG BERDAMPAK PADA PERCERAIAN DI KELURAHAN JONTLAK KECAMATAN PRAYA TENGAH

This study aims to examine and analyze the causes of early marriages under the age of 19 which often occurs and has an impact on divorce and the role of the Religious Court in preventing divorce cases caused by marriage underage in Jontlak Village, Central Praya District. The method used in this research is the "socio legal research" method, this method was referred to as the "non doctrinal" method. It uses legal rules in social research and the legal rules were basically empirical. The results showed that, the cause of marriage underage has an impact on divorce which is caused by 7 (seven) factors, where the highest factor is the economic level, followed by the level of parental education, emotional and psychological sides, social and cultural phenomena, knowledge and reproductive health, media electronic, and the last, pregnant out of wedlock. The Religious Court has several prevention methods in preventing divorce cases caused by marriage underage, such as: (1) Giving dispensation with conditions in terms of substance; (2) Giving dispensation with conditions in terms of administration; (3) Offering counseling on the risks of marriage underage; (4) Socializing to strengthen the role of the family; (5) Strengthening of the Marriage Counseling and Preservation Agency (BP4); and (6) Optimizing the mediation.
