Abstract
This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of the Anu Beta Tubat Method in learning mathematics for grade 7 students at SMP YPK 1 Imanuel Jitmau. This method is designed to improve mathematical problem solving skills while motivating students to be more enthusiastic in learning mathematics. Based on the results of the study, students' problem solving skills showed the following distribution: 20% of students were in the good category, 40% were in the fair category, and the other 40% were in the poor category. The data shows that most students still face difficulties in understanding concepts and solving mathematics problems, especially in the addition and subtraction operations of whole numbers. The Anu Beta Tubat method, although it has the potential to improve understanding and learning motivation, requires further development to overcome these obstacles.
