Abstract

Students will have difficulty solving math problems due to decreased learning motivation. Through the learning process with the problem-based learning method that emphasizes students on solving problems that are unique and assisted by quizizz application-based media that students can get from their respective mobile phones. This research is a qualitative research by applying a problem-based learning model with the help of the quizizz application. This research is used in updating learning activities in the classroom and finding out the effectiveness of using the quizizz application in learning. The population in this study is grade XII AKT students at SMK An Nuuriyah Gresik with a total of 17 students. The results of the study found that the Quizizz application on motivation and problem-solving ability had a positive influence. This means that using the Quizizz application will increase students' motivation and learning outcomes, where students feel enthusiastic and enthusiastic in carrying out both in the learning process and in learning evaluations with the help of the Quizizz application. The average result of student motivation is 3.56 with the criteria for student motivation in problem-based learning assisted by the quizizz application is very high. It can be concluded that the problem-based learning method assisted by the quizizz application is very influential in increasing students' motivation in learning in this increasingly developing technological era.
