ANALISIS DIKSI DALAM KUMPULAN PUISI MERUPA TANAH DI UJUNG TIMUR JAWA ANTOLOGI PUISI PENYAIR 7 KOTA : KAJIAN STILISTIKA

Poetry is a work of the poet's imagination that is rich in meaning. Has diffcharacteristics according to the poet's writing style. Writing poetry cannot be separated from the diction used, so that aesthetic poetry is created. One of the aesthetic values in poetry is the use of diction which is part of stylistic assessment. This research focuses on two research focuses, namely (1) What are the types of words, meanings and forms of diction in the poetry collection Merupa Tanah di Ujung Timur Java, Anthology of 7 Cities Poets, (2) What is the relationship between diction and poetic elements in the poetry collection Merupa Tanah di East End of Java Anthology of 7 Cities Poets. The results of the research show that diction in poetry consists of several categories, namely (1) diction based on types of words consisting of concrete nouns and abstract nouns, verbs, adjectives, (2) diction based on meaning, namely connotative, denotative, (3) diction based on forms in the form of basic words, words that undergo morphological processes. Furthermore, the relationship between diction and elements of poetry is (1) the relationship between diction and figure of speech, (2) the relationship between diction and images and, (3) the relationship between diction and atmosphere.
