Abstract
Law enforcement efforts by the Sidoarjo City Police in handling the crime of trafficking in women for the purpose of sexual exploitation. Human trafficking, especially of women, is a serious violation of human rights that requires special attention. This study uses a sociological juridical approach with data collection methods in the form of literature studies, and interview. Research found that the implementation of Law no. 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Human Trafficking by the police has been carried out through the stages of inquiry, inquiry and legal execution. However, several obstacles emerged, such as the lack of resources and knowledge of the authorities regarding this specific issue. The study results show the need for synergy between various parties, including regional governments and women's protection institutions, to strengthen preventive and repressive measures in eradicating women's trafficking. Law enforcement by the Sidoarjo Police emphasizes the importance of regional and national collaboration to eradicate this crime
