PENYELESAIAN TINDAK PIDANA PENYALAHGUNAAN NARKOTIKA UNTUK DIRI SENDIRI YANG MENGALAMI KETERGANTUNGAN MELALUI RESTORATIVE JUSTICE DI TINGKAT KEPOLISIAN (STUDI DI POLRESTA MALANG KOTA)

Polresta Malang Kota had released data on year-end pers conference that there were 220 cases of narcotics in Malang city, which is known had increased by 0,9% higher than the previous year. A friction could be seen at the way of punishment that give justice for the subject to reform through restorative justice. This research aims to find out and analyse the implementation of restorative justice approach and what factors determine the effectivity of restorative justice implementation. The method used for the research was sociological juridical with field study to collect the data. The research meet the conclusion that criminal act of narcotics abuse handled by Polresta Malang Kota were applied with Police Regulation number 8/2021 and has been effectively implied. But, some optimization still need to be done by increasing the active role of the police officers and add more numbers, as well as supporting facilities for the sake of implementation of the restorative justice on criminal act of narcotics abuse.
