TINJAUAN YURIDIS KRIMINOLOGIS PENANGGULANGAN TINDAK PIDANA PENYALAHGUNAAN NARKOTIKA DAN OBAT TERLARANG OLEH KEPOLISIAN RESOR PAMEKASAN

In the last five years, cases of narcotics and illegal drug abuse have fluctuated, with various types, each with a range of perpetrators from adults to minors. This is caused by internal and external factors that cause a person to become addicted to drugs. The role of parents, the community and educational institutions is very necessary to assist the police in eradicating this problem in the Pamekasan district area. The problems in this research are: 1). What are the causes of narcotics abuse by teenagers in Pamekasan Regency? 2). What are the efforts to prevent criminal acts carried out by the Pamekasan resort police against perpetrators of narcotics and illegal drug abuse? The aim of this research is to find out and examine the efforts made by the police and the factors that cause narcotics abuse in the Pamekasan jurisdiction. The method used in this research is sociological juridical, linking legal writing carried out sociologically with attention to social aspects. Conclusions and suggestions in this research Pamekasan resort police through two efforts in the form of preventive and repressive efforts in dealing with narcotics and illegal drug abuse.
