Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe work motivation, work environment and employee performance, determine the influence of work motivation on employee performance, the influence of the work environment on employee performance and determine the variables that most influence employee performance in the bag and suitcase industry (Intako) in Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. The type of research in preparing this thesis is explanatory research, with the population in this research being production employees in the bag and suitcase industry (Intako), namely 62 employees. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis with the F test and t test. The results of the analysis show that employee work motivation is in the quite high category, the work environment is quite good and employee performance is quite high. Work motivation influences employee performance. The work environment influences employee performance and the work environment most influences employee performance in the bag and suitcase industry (Intako) in Tanggulangin Sidoarjo.
