Sidoarjo Regency has the potential for aquaculture and capture. The aquaculture sub-sector has comparative advantages with other regions that have the same commodities. The production of the fisheries sub-sector in Sidoarjo Regency contributed 53%. This research aims to find out whether the fisheries sector in Sidoarjo Regency is a leading sector now and in the future using GRDP indicators. The analysis methods used are Location Quotient (LQ) and Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) in the long term 2019-2023 period. Based on the results of the LQ GRDP analysis at constant prices 2019-2023, it is proven that the fisheries sector in Sidoarjo Regency is a leading sector with a value for the pond fish sector LQ 1.87, the marine fish sector LQ 1.38, the public water fish sector LQ 2.76. Based on the DLQ method, the fisheries sector will become a non-basic sector in the future, namely, the pond fish sector DLQ 0.87, the marine fish sector DLQ 0.86, the public water fish sector DLQ 0.56. From the results of LQ and DLQ, it is possible to export basic products outside the Sidoarjo Regency area.
