Abstract
Bullying experiences among adolescents have a negative impact on their psychological well-being. One of the consequences of bullying is self-harming behavior, which is carried out as a way to release negative emotions stemming from the issues faced, providing a temporary sense of relief and calm, accompanied by a belief in one's worthlessness. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of REBT combined with self-talk in reducing self-harming behavior among adolescents victimized by bullying. The study involved 10 participants divided into two groups: experimental group 1 and experimental group 2. Data were collected using the Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory (DSHI) during pre-test and post-test measurements. The results indicated that the implementation of REBT with self-talk was effective in reducing self-harming behavior and demonstrated a significant difference compared to the application of REBT alone.
