Abstract

Career anxiety is a feeling of anxiety when an individual cannot make career decisions and is in an uncertain situation, so that gives rise to a lack of self-perception, a lack of understanding about the workplace, lack of confidence, and psychological conflicts. Work
environment is the environment where individuals do their daily work, and a conducive work environment provides a sense of security and allows employees to work optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of work environment on career anxiety in employees. The research method used is quantitative research. The population in this study were men and women aged 15-60 years who had jobs. The sample used amounted to 171
people who were taken using accidental sampling techniques. Data were collected using the Quality of Work Life Scale (QWL) and Career Anxiety Scale instruments. Data analysis used is
simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, it shows value of p = 0,003, that is, there is a significant role between the work environment on
career anxiety in employees.
