Abstract

Regional factors based on superior sectors/sub-sectors, capacity development strategies and community economic activities in increasing the economic progress of local communities. Selection of superior sectors as a basis for regional development and collaboration between business growth centers. In the description of the problem that will be examined how economic growth in East Lombok Regency is and what the role of leading sectors is. The first step that must be taken is to determine the biophysical, technological and socio-economic conditions of producers in the region and taken from the problem formulation What is the economic potential in East Lombok Regency Nusa Province West Southeast How are the leading sectors in East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province? The method used is qualitative with Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, which is an approach used to measure the concentration of an economic activity found in facts from this research, namely economic growth and leading sectors.
