Abstract

This research aims to develop a more efficient and user-friendly information system for office supply requests at Pengadilan Negeri Marabahan a Design Thinking-based approach. By undergoing the stages of empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing, this research successfully identified key issues in the existing manual process and designed a more effective solution. Through a user-centered approach, the study identified common problems encountered in the manual office supply request process. The research resulted in a prototype information system designed based on user needs and has been tested. This system is expected to improve work efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance user satisfaction. The primary contribution of this research is the application of Design Thinking methodology in the context of government organizations and the development of user-centered information systems. The System Usability Scale (SUS) was employed as a final step in testing the system, which is part of the Design Thinking process. The prototype application was tested on 5 users using the SUS method, resulting in a score of 73%, indicating a good usability rating. This demonstrates that the SIPATA application prototype can effectively address user needs.
