Abstract

Abstract. Competition in the business and service world in the current era of globalization is getting tighter. Many growing challenges that are likely to be faced by organizations and come from employees, one of which is normative organizational commitment. One factor that can influence this commitment comes from organizational culture. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of organizational culture on normative organizational commitment in cafe employees. This study is quantitative using accidental sampling techniques and the number of subjects is 156 cafe employees in Malang City. The instruments used in this study are the Robbins model Organizational Culture Scale and the Meyer and Allen model Organizational Commitment Scale. Data analysis was carried out using the parametric test method using simple linear regression techniques. The results showed that there was no significant influence between organizational culture as a whole on normative organizational commitment in cafe employees (Sig. = 0.026).
