Abstract

As a Country with a long history of conflict within it’s government as result of military interference in politics, Thailand is often faced with protes carried out by it’s people against the military leadership which is considered to have violeted human right with infinity behind lesse laws Royal Majesty. In the protests that took place in 2020, Prayut Chan O Cha, the elected prime minister off Thailand, who served two terms from 2014 to 2023, was the main target of demonstrators protests because he was dewmed to have failed in running the government and as a result of the problem of the forced di solution of the Future Forward Party. The front which has a center-left affiliation in the Thai government aswell as Prayut Chan O Cha impunity behind the laws of the Thai Monarchi in the practice of exercising power and limiting the people’s right of opinion and politics. This article exemines how protes in Thailand can be carried out under restriction on people’s right to express opinion and politics by the government with the help of the use of social media as a forum for accommoting people’s aspirations regarding shortcomings and dissaticfaction with Prayut Chan O Cha’s Thai government and the use of social media as a pleace. Social movement koordinat the masses to carry out demonstration so that they can take place on the streets.
