Abstract
Based on Riskesdas, the prevalence of Coronary Heart Disease increased by 0.5% in 2013 to 1.5% in 2018. Coronary Heart Disease is caused by plaque buildup in the coronary arteries causing blocked blood flow to form atherosclerosis. Candesartan as an antiremodeling therapy and cardioprotective drug can reduce the risk of recurrent cardiovascular events. To determine the pattern of Candesartan usage in patients with coronary heart disease, including type, dosage, route, frequency, and duration of administration at RSI Aisyiyah Malang. This research is an observational or non-experimental study using qualitative methods, structured based on the retrospective collection of data. The most common single therapy pattern was candesartan in 6 patients (16%). The most common pattern of use of Combination Therapy 2 was candesartan (1x16mg) po + bisoprolol (1x2.5 mg) po in 11 patients (41%). The use of the 3 combination therapies used in this study was candesartan (1x16mg) po + bisoprolol (1x5mg)po + amlodipine (1x10mg)po in 1 patient (33%), the combination pattern of candesartan (1x16mg)po + verapamil (1x80mg)po + bisoprolol (1x2.5mg)po in 1 patient (33%) and the combination pattern of candesartan (1x16mg)po + bisoprolol (1x5mg)po + amlodipine (1x20mg)po in 1 patient (33%). There are a total of 5 switch patterns obtained from each patient based on the type, dose and route given.
