Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine and test the role of job satisfaction in mediating the influence of the fairness of compensation and workload on the performance of PT Karya Utama Muda. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The data sample used saturated sampling or census with 106 respondents, the total number of employees and filled out the questionnaire in this research. Data analysis uses Structural Equation Model (SEM) via SmartPLS software. The result is that compensation fairness has a positive effect on employee performance, while workload has no effect on employee performance. The next result is that compensation fairness has a positive effect on job satisfaction, workload has a positive effect on job satisfaction and job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance. Then job satisfaction is able to mediate the fairness of compensation on employee performance and finally job satisfaction is able to mediate workload on employee performance.
