caused by narrowing of the coronary arteries and atherosclerosis plaques, resulting in a lack of oxygen supply to the myocardial muscles. CAD patients are characterized by frequent symptoms such as chest pain. The use of Isosorbide Dinitrate (ISDN) in CAD patients to treat chest pain in heart patients by dilating blood vessels so that the flow back is smooth and pain is reduced.
Objective: To find out the pattern of ISDN use in CAD patients including type, dose, route, frequency, administration and duration of use which can be linked to laboratory data and clinical data in patients at RSI Aisyiyah Malang.
Method: Retrospective study of Health Medical Record data in patients with heart disease with patient criteria, namely a final diagnosis of Coronary Heart and receiving ISDN therapy at Aisyiyah Islamic Hospital for the Period January-December 2023
Results and Conclusions: The pattern of using a single ISDN was 70 patterns (100%), the Switch pattern was 12 patterns. The most single use patterns were ISDN (3x5mg) po as many as 45 patterns (62%), the most switch use patterns were Nitroglycerin Injection (20mcg/min) to ISDN (2x5 mg) po as many as 3 patterns (26%)
