Abstract
Kediri City has several road segments that cross the Brantas River. The Bandar Ngalim road segment as a national logistics crossing, has the second highest road capacity in Kediri City. The limitations of bridges in carrying loads pose a risk of collapse due to dynamic loads. Therefore, the construction of the second Bandar Ngalim bridge is necessary to reduce traffic congestion and develop the national logistics system. The planned bridge will be a half-through arch type and a girder bridge, using SAP2000v22 software for analysis along with the abutments and bridge piers. Based on geometric design and control results, the specifications for the arch structure utilize an IWF profile with a maximum deflection of 68.571 mm, while the girder structure uses pre-stressed concrete PC I H170 with a maximum deflection of 1.974 mm. The substructure includes abutments, piers, and foundations. According to calculations, the abutment requires 5x2 bored pile foundations with a diameter (d) of 1.00 m, spaced 3.00 m apart and driven to a depth of 19.00 m. The maximum vertical load capacity is 1459.72 kN, with a lateral load capacity of 821.76 kN per pile. For the piers, 4x4 bored pile foundations with a diameter (d) of 1.00 m are needed, driven to a depth of 32.00 m to achieve a maximum vertical load capacity of 3657.21 kN and a lateral load capacity of 4800.00 kN per pile. The construction of the bridge is expected to take 329 days, with a total budget of IDR 81,058,094,021.
