Abstract
The human communication process is divided into several parts, one of which is interpersonal communication. So this communication process can shape the self-concept of teenagers, especially in the Pedulimental.id Malang Community. interpersonal communication patterns to shape the character of members in the process of forming a member's self-concept. So that the character that is formed from the communication process that occurs allows a member to determine good behavior patterns that reflect their own character, This type of research is descriptive-qualitative, using an interpersonal communication approach model to see the communication patterns that occur between members of the Pedulimental.id Malang Community and the founder, so that in the communication process there are no misunderstandings between the founder and the members. This process can form self-concept in teenagers, especially members of the Pedulimental.id Malang Community. The results of the research conducted show that the pattern of interpersonal communication that occurs between members and founders in the Pedulimental.id Community shows that the interpersonal communication that occurs shows that members are able to accept the opinions of the founder and other people. Apart from that, the members feel happy hanging out with their peers or other people. others because they don't look at physicality or character. Thus, the self-concept of the members of the Caring Community, ID Malang, shows that the interpersonal communication process that occurs is able to shape the character between them. The implication of the research is that teenagers or community members are expected to be able to develop a positive self-concept within themselves by expanding communication networks without forgetting the boundaries of norms or rules that apply both within the school environment and outside the school. And it is hoped that the community will always pay attention to the psychological condition of the members by establishing good communication so that members can develop a positive self-concept within themselves.
