Abstract
Project delays occur due to a lack of good scheduling, resulting in discrepancies in planned schedules and continuity in the field. The PERT method is a probabilistic scheduling method, where the duration of each activity allows for delays and there is no certainty in accelerating the project completion schedule. This research method is a re-acceleration scheduling process using probabilistic scheduling which considers the possibility of a project experiencing delays. This is what made the author use the PERT method in the UNEESA Surabaya Lab School building construction project. From the PERT method analysis, the td value is 173 days with a probability of 99.94%. From the results of the cost calculation analysis resulting from the application of the PERT method, an estimated cost increase of 168,422,169 was obtained. The total costs required are 14,252,071,169 where there is a cost overrun of 168,422,169. from the normal costs of 14,177,840,000.
