Abstract
Employees have an important role in advancing the company. Opinions
or concepts that can be used to make some effort to support the
company. The delivery of work-related ideas is a form of employee
concern for the work environment. It openly leaves employees feeling
with work. Work engagement is an important thing that every employee
needs to do at work. Can be able to minimize problems that occur in the
company. This study aims to determine the relationship between work
engagement and voice behavior in employees. Subjects involving 80
employees at PT. Y and PT. Z using quota sampling. The data retrieval
method uses Utrecth Work Engagement Scale (UWES) scale for work
engagement and Voice Behavior Scale (VBS) for voice behavior with
Likert scale. Data analysis method which is product moment
correlation. The results showed that there was a positive and highly
significant correlation between work engagement and voice behavior
in employees (r = 0,730; p = 0,000). Work engagement has an effect on
voice behavior of 53.3%.
