Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Learning Cycle 5E learning model on Arabic learning outcomes in MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu city. The population in this study amounted to 260 students, and the sample used amounted to 59 students, namely class VII C as the experimental class and class VII F as the control class. The method used in this research is true experimental design, and the information collection used is participatory observation, unstructured interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were validity test, reliability test, difficulty test, normality test, and paired sample t-test. The process of applying the Learning Cycle 5E model takes place with five stages, namely the stages of engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, and evaluation. The results of this study, through the paired sample t-test, obtained a t count of 26.837 and a t table of 2.045 with a significance level of 5%. Ho was rejected, and Ha was accepted. So, the Learning Cycle 5E learning model affects the learning outcomes of Arabic language students in class VII C MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu City.
