STUDI PERILAKU IBU DALAM KEJADIAN STUNTING PADA KELUARGA PETANI DI KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR

he Ogan Ilir Regency Government is committed to eradicating the problem of stunting, especially in farming families who suffer the most from stunting. The study was conducted on mothers of malnourished toddlers aged 13 to 59 months in Farming Families in 9 Integrated Health Posts (Posyandu) in 3 different sub-districts, based on the Decree of the Regent of Ogan Ilir 2023, Number 188/KEP/DPPPAPPKB/2023 concerning Village Locus for Accelerating Stunting Reduction. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique with a questionnaire containing 29 questions grouped into 6 parts. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and partial least square (PLS). The results of the study showed that the mother's education factor was most influenced by the lack of basic knowledge about nutritional sources for toddlers. The family income factor was most influenced by the choice of food menu when there was money, the priority of using money in the household and the assumption that working does not mean being rich. The highest consumption factor is influenced by the toddler's meal schedule, the toddler's meal situation, monitoring the toddler's meal portion and the assumption when the toddler does not want to eat. The highest cultural value factor is influenced by feeding toddlers according to the culture in the environment, feeding toddlers according to the culture in the family, choosing a toddler parenting pattern based on the environment and choosing a toddler parenting pattern based on the family. All variables have convergent validity and have interrelated relationships. The results of the behavior of mothers of farming families towards stunting in Ogan Ilir Regency were 59.8% very significantly influenced by cultural value factors and education factors and significantly by income factors. The remaining 40.2% were influenced by other variables not used in the research model. The moderating effect of the education factor was confirmed to be very significant in strengthening the income factor and consumption factor and strengthening the cultural value factor of farming families towards stunting in Ogan Ilir Regency. In addition, the moderating effect of the income factor was confirmed to be very significant in strengthening the consumption factor and cultural value factor of farming families towards stunting in Ogan Ilir Regency.
