In Indonesia, the rate of workplace accidents at PT PLN (Persero) is quite high.
The majority of these accidents occur due to unsafe behavior resulting from low awareness
regarding employee safety. Research indicates that the average workplace accident is
caused by unsafe behavior. Worker safety and health significantly impact productivity and
work quality. Data from the International Labour Organization (ILO) show that millions of
workers die each year due to workplace accidents and diseases. This study aims to examine
the influence of safety climate on safety behavior among employees of PT PLN (Persero).
This research employs a quantitative method using safety climate and safety behavior
scales, with 35 respondents characterized as employees with high work risk. The analysis
results show that the safety climate has an effect on safety behavior among PLN employees
with high work risk, with an effective contribution of 42.7%.
