Abstract
In a company, of course, humans are the main asset in running a company, so companies must have the ability to empower human resources in order to achieve work targets. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of work stress on the performance of company employees in West Nusa Tenggara. This research uses a quantitative correlational design method to determine the effect of work stress variables on employee performance. The technique used is purposive sampling with a total of 70 respondents in the company. There are two scales used in this research, namely, The new job stress scale and Individual work performance questionnaire (IWPQ). The results obtained from this research are that work stress has no influence on employee performance because they can manage it well due to satisfactory compensation and remain professional at work.
