EFEKTIVITAS PENEGAKAN HUKUM TERHADAP KASUS PENELANTARAN RUMAH TANGGA SEBAGAI KASUS KDRT DALAM UNDANG-UNDANG NOMOR 23 TAHUN 2004 TENTANG PENGHAPUSAN KEKERASAN DALAM RUMAH TANGGA DI KEPOLISIAN RESOR LUMAJANG

Households are formed since a legal marriage between a man and a woman of legal age which has a goal to create a happy family, get a sense of security, and prosper. However, the fact that cases of domestic violence in Indonesia are still rampant does not rule out the possibility of domestic neglect as a form of domestic violence. This research aims to find out 1) How is the effectiveness of law enforcement against cases of domestic neglect as a form of domestic violence crime in Lumajang District Police, 2) What factors influence law enforcement against domestic neglect cases as a form of domestic violence crime at Lumajang Police Station. The method used in the research is empirical juridical legal research, then presented in a descriptive way, namely by describing, parsing, and explaining the phenomena that occur in the field. This research was conducted at the Lumajang Resort Police Office. The result of this research is that the effectiveness of law enforcement related to domestic neglect cases as cases of domestic violence has not been effective. This is because every year cases of domestic neglect as a form of domestic violence increase.
