Abstract
Sanggar Musik Center (SMC) is a hub for music enthusiasts to explore and learn
about the world of music. SMC offers programs such as music studio booking, private
music lessons, and musical instrument rentals. Sanggar Musik Center (SMC) faces
problems with the registration process for private lessons and studio bookings, as these
require direct meetings with the owner. This makes it difficult for potential customers
to schedule music sessions due to the owner's busy schedule and inefficient
management. Developing a well-designed front-end can serve as strong product
branding, attracting customers and providing a user-friendly interface that enhances the
overall user experience. It also serves as a communication channel between SMC and
the community. The front-end website for SMC is designed using the Next.js
framework, with server-side rendering to ensure faster page load times, better SEO,
and improved website performance. The development process uses the prototype
method, which helps in gaining a detailed understanding of system specifications. The
stages of the prototype method include requirements gathering, building the prototype,
evaluating the prototype, coding the system, testing the system, and evaluating the
system. System testing using black box testing resulted in a 100% pass rate, and
performance testing using Lighthouse scored over 80%, indicating excellent
performance. The results of the system evaluation test using user acceptance testing
(UAT) obtained a score above 80%, the level of suitability and the level of ease. It can
be concluded that the prototype method designed is in accordance with the wishes and
needs of users as evidenced by direct user evaluation, both on the prototype design and
the system being developed.
